A language assistance plan is vital to meeting the needs of your patient community,
addressing malpractice and standard of care concerns, and ensuring legal compliance.
Considering that one out of six US residents cite a language other than English
as their primary language and that more than 24 million people (9% of US residents)
rate their use of English as less than "very well,"[1] language assistance
plans for hospitals are absolutely critical.
