CyraCom International, Inc. supports local Christmas program to help underprivileged
children.
On Saturday December 17th, the Tucson Police Officers Association’s Kids, Cops, and
Christmas Program will allow approximately 300 Tucson children to shop for presents
and share in the community Christmas spirit.
Children throughout the Tucson area who are involved with Head Start and the Urban
League, along with some referred by Officers they have met in school, were selected
to participate in the program. They will gather with Officers at the Super Target
near Oracle Rd. and Roger Rd. in Tucson to shop for presents, meet Santa, and share
snacks in a memorable holiday experience. In addition to holiday celebration, the
program provides a positive setting for Police Officers and youth to interact.
CyraCom International, Inc. is supporting the program this year by funding a portion
of the shopping. Community donations, time volunteered by Tucson Police Officers,
and support from the Tucson Police Explorers will also help to make the program
possible.
“We are very thankful for the support that CyraCom International, Inc has provided
for this year’s Kids, Cops, and Christmas program,” said Sergeant John Strader,
President of the Tucson Police Officers Association. “It’s companies like CyraCom
International that allow us to make this program as successful as it is.”
